Spray Paint, Storage, and oh heyyyy its Rosé Season

In between the bigger projects, I like do small things that make the home feel like ours and improve everyday life. This week I am focusing all on quick, inexpensive fixes! Can you say checking off that honey-do list?

Rust-Oleum Universal Metallics Spray Paint

Our home has very few pieces that look like they are original to the home. Some of those are the darling mailbox on the front of the house and the matching front door handle. Both are in good working order but the paint was a mess. It was super faded and peeling. All we did to improve it was unscrew everything, lay it out on some cardboard in the grass and give it a few coats of this stuff. It turned out great! This spray paint is durable and great for outdoor projects. We used the oil rubbed bronze color as it was closest. You can see the improvement in the picture, we did the small interior knob first and it looks so much better after just 1 coat.  You can buy it at most hardware stores or here.

2 Tier Sliding Basket Organizer Drawer

Serious lack of kitchen storage anyone? I miss my large walk-in pantry more then I thought. And admittedly, half my kitchen is still in boxes. With such limited space, I scoured the internet for anything that could help. This organizer with drawers fit the bill perfectly. I can fit double the spices in the same amount of space I could before and I love that its not just shelves but actual sliding drawers so nothing gets lost in the back. Tip- spray a little WD-40 so the drawers glide nice and smooth.

It's March which means Rosé Season!

As anyone who follows my Insta-stories knows, I love a nice glass of wine. And since its now March, I can shamelessly drink Rosé. (and yes I had to google how to make the é) The Yes Way Rosé is now sold at Target, so I pretty much always have it on hand. Plus, it was started by 2 best friends who just happened to share a love for pink wine. Shout out for women run businesses!

What are your favorite summer wines? What do you think about Rosé all year long?
